In accordance with the provisions of Natural Gas Market Law 4646 which was announced in 2001 , the natural gas market aimed to be more liberal, stronger and transparent.   Akfel Energy has been qualified by having the license on the wholesale of natural gas until 2039 which is approved by EPDK ( Turkey Energy Market Regulatory Authority) in 29/12/2009.
